Training Courses 

CBAFF offers a range of high quality training courses, held in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, to ensure our members are kept up to date with industry developments and are in line with legislation.

Online, face-to-face learning environments and in-house training* courses are also available.

Non-members are welcome to enrol in our courses, but if you're planning to enrol in several, it's recommended that you become a CBAFF member. You'll receive significant discounts on course prices – as well as the many other membership benefits.

To enrol in a course you must register your details with CBAFF. Registration is simple and free, all you have to do is enter your name, email address and a password.

Once registered you'll be automatically logged in and can start the enrolment process via the prompts on screen.

Personal Identification Number (PIN) Accreditation Course
If you want to become a Customs Broker and lodge your own documentation with NZ Customs you require a New Zealand Customs Unique User Identifier (UUI), commonly known as a Personal Identification Number (PIN). In-house Training Courses
CBAFF offers in-house corporate training for companies whose applicants cannot attend on the scheduled course days, or for companies that require specific training. This option is also available for courses that are offered, but not scheduled for Wellington or Christchurch. Minimum attendance is required. Enquiries are handled on a case by case basis. Contact us to discuss making a booking.

Dangerous Goods

AMSA has determined that mandatory training is to be undertaken for all personnel involved in processing DG shipments that will be transported by ship.

The CBFCA can assist you in meeting your training requirements by offering training that is fully accredited by AMSA and that meets the requirements of Chapter 1.3 of the IMDG Code.
