This practical session gives early-career professionals the tools and the words to do exactly that. You'll leave with simple frameworks and ready-to-use scripts you can try the very next day.
 
What we'll cover:
  • Communicating well at work: habits that make senior leaders listen
  • Approaching senior leaders: how to start the conversation, make a strong impression and follow up
  • Asking for a pay rise: when to ask, how to build your case, what to say, and what to do if the answer is "not now"
  • Asking for development or more challenge: how to pitch a stretch opportunity your manager can say yes to
  • Giving feedback to your manager: a simple, respectful way to "manage up" without damaging the relationship
