CBAFF continues to engage with the Commerce Commission and advocates for its members

We have brought to the Commission’s attention members’ concerns about a number of matters including :

  • The application of surcharges when a situation does not exist
  • Late notice of schedule changes resulting in additional costs
  • Withdrawal of contracts
  • Denial of services contracted

The Commission have advised us that they are particularly interested in information about a drop off in particular product lines – both domestically and internationally – that may be attributable to general supply chain issues – or collusion.

We are arranging another meeting with the Commission to provide more detail about the changing market as it affects members.  We would welcome your insight and comments.  All information received will be treated with confidence.
