Code Of Ethics
The CBAFF Member must discharge its duties with honesty and integrity.
The CBAFF Member pledges a standard of competence to its client, to perform in a conscientious, diligent and efficient manner, services undertaken on the client’s behalf.
The CBAFF Member pledges to hold in strict confidence, all information acquired in the course of the relationship concerning the business and the affairs of its client. No such information is to be divulged unless authorized by the client, or required by law.
The CBAFF Member agrees to observe all relevant laws of New Zealand and international agreements, conventions and legislation as they relate to the carriage of goods and the provision of services.
The CBAFF Member owes a duty to its client, not to withdraw its services, except for good cause, and upon appropriate notice.
The CBAFF Member agrees to register, with CBAFF, its use of the CBAFF logo.

Applicants Obligations and Rights, (Constitution - Section 12)
Every Member shall provide the Federation in writing with that Member's name and contact details (namely, physical or email address and a telephone number) and promptly advise the Federation in writing of any changes to those details.
Where such Member is a body corporate, it shall provide the Council in writing, with the name and contact details of the organisation’s authorised representative and that person shall be deemed to be the organisation’s proxy for the purposes of voting at General Meetings.
A Member is only entitled to exercise the rights of membership (including attending and voting at General Meetings, accessing or using the Federation premises, facilities, equipment and other property, and participating in Federation activities) if all subscriptions and any other fees have been paid to the Federation by their respective due dates, but no Member or Life Member is liable for an obligation of the Federation by reason only of being a Member.
