Kākāriki Award

Recognising Leadership in Sustainability

As part of CBAFF’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and responsible business practices, the Kākāriki Award was introduced in 2024 as a natural extension of our focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

The Kākāriki Award recognises organisations and individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership in sustainability. It celebrates those who embed sustainable practices into their operations and decision-making, while also influencing and inspiring others across the industry.

This award acknowledges a proactive and responsible approach to environmental and social impact, reflecting our collective commitment to a more sustainable future for both our industry and the communities we serve.

Through the Kākāriki Award, CBAFF seeks to highlight the importance of integrating sustainability into business strategy and to encourage the adoption of practices that support long-term environmental, social, and economic outcomes.
